some areas that are now marginal for kiwi fruit in NZ, which needs a chilling period (i.e frosts), might get even more marginal
here, we have only had 1 light frost this winter so far and that was back in may

re that ariticle, the  bit about surfing...beach breaks will be not be affected...as the beach will just be moving in land....but the slope of the beach etc will not change
also coral reefs will just grow taller...to get to the light...so the depth is maintained
reef breaks caused by rocks...a few cm's is not going to cause any problems compared to the m's of tide rise and fall daily anyway

also during the dinasours , the climate was alot hotter
and there was much more oceans than land mass..and they were teeming with life...
and there was also more oxygen in the atmosphere...

I work with wool Products.
The best sheeps wool comes from places that are warmer than nz.
We don't use nz wool because the microns (A micron - Wikipedia).are to thick.
and the skins to thin.
Hotter weather makes skins thinker and the wool finer.
Almost no one whats nz sheepskins. Even Bowron here in Chch only tan skins from Australia.
So warmer weather would be very good for us.

"The quality of Saaz hops from the Czech Republic has been falling since 1954 due to warmer temperatures".
So how much warmer was 1955 compared to say 1954?.

A warming climate will make France hot enough by 2050 that the conditions faced by cyclists in the Tour de France will be “brutal.”
That why they have it in summer in the first place. The warmer and dryer the air the faster you can go.

As for fireworks im not going to miss them.

One good thing if we do get the 2c warmer temps by say 2050 we will be able plant our crops about 1 month earlier and even if summer are to hot for the crops to grow it would have be harvested before summer starts. And we may even get a second crop in after summer.
