Summer
« on: June 13, 2013, 09:17:01 PM »
The french open was like winter for the first week.
The second was not massively better.
Queens, is rained off for most of the time, and it doesn't look good at the moment for wombles.

Yesterday it was rain and wind and today it is just wind and grey sky, so far.
Everything is at least a month behind in the garden and some things, several months.
The hibiscus went outside and then had to be rapidly brought back inside because the
temperature dropped like a brick, and it is not likely to go outside again in the foreseeable future.

Altogether, its a pretty lousy summer, so far.

I made comment on this. First time I have watched the French open with the crowd wrapped up in coats, hats and gloves.

I hope you are wrong for wombles. I dont like rain days, I have to do house work :)

Cheers Robert :)

Ah - but at least with Wobblebottom if the water gets more than a metre deep, the crowd remain and you get a free, live, Cliff Richard concert !!
Imagine what you will KNOW tomorrow

Thanks for that.

We definitely do not see anything like that. Really great atmosphere.
Every year our cams focus on him so I knew he was a tennis buff.

Pity his tennis concert did not come about. That could have been a bit of fun.
Cheers
