It was a wintry night for much of New Zealand and for some of us Tuesday is looking bleak as well.
Wind and Rain up top, snow down the bottom. Below is the low temperatures since midnight across our Local Stations.

Interesting cut at about 3C. There isn't much at 2C and then the next ones are in the 1.8C and below. Also all of those ones are south and east. There is a definite cut south of Blenheim, which is where most of the cold weather is hitting
