Toronto / Pickering - Canada
Sunday, May 5 at 11:00AM
For the past week (and days to come) the patios are in 'overtime'.......
Great summer-like weather with blue skies, Sunshine and a temp around +22 to +24 C
That's where we've been waiting for the
past 6 month
...!!!!
Current Conditions:
Temp: 21 C
Beer
Temp: Cool.......................
Wind: W @ 11 km/h
UV Index: 7 (max for today)
Baro: 1022 mb
Humidity: 40%
This Sunday,
Police
is regulating the traffic around the numerous nurseries while millions of Torontonians are getting their garden decorations/flowers and summer-like additions to their house. A big change with only
2 weeks
ago, when during my garage sale the snow was blowing and temperatures didn't come above + 3 C..
Cheers,
Arthur

A dark rainy morning, gusty NW winds for Auckland. I recorded a max gust of 60 km/h overnight. Another 9mm since midnight, on top of 46mm the previous 2 days. Rather chilly on 13C - turned heat pump on!

Port Robinson 12.30pm
After cheating with my earlier report using the cameras and remotely accessing Weather Display I can report that it's pretty dreary here in the flesh. The temperature has limped up to 9.3° which is the highest since daylight. Unlikely to go much higher, so the prediction of 12-13° can be tossed out. Rain total since midnight has risen to 23.2mm. Log fire has been stoked up.

Big down pour W'gton central 8.45-9.30, 35.2mm 8am-10am, at least 13mm in one 10-minute period. The most surface flooding/running water I've seen in several years, possibly back to Feb. 2004.
