Black and green
« on: March 30, 2013, 04:41:03 AM »
The white stuff is slowly melting away and I can now see the road and the garden, albeit with lumps of white stuff scattered around. Today is the warmest for some time at 4 C and the bitter, east wind has dropped to around 20 KPH with the occasional gust of around 60 KPH.
It is nice to see the sunshine rather than grey cloud, although all is soggy underfoot and the ground is only a fraction above freezing point.

The snow drift that is the garden has shrunk in height a little today, but .... that's it !

Night temps forecast for the next several days are all sub-zero.
We might have some daffodils showing by June  :o
