Emergency situation over heavy snow in Bulgaria

Heavy snowfalls and wind have disrupted energy supplies in 260 settlements in eastern Bulgaria, local media reports. Road traffic has been stopped in the Shumen region
 
Firemen and rescuers are evacuating people from the dangerous areas in the north-east and east of the country.
