Dogs driving a car - trained by New Zealand SPCA staff.
« on: December 10, 2012, 10:18:01 PM »
This is certainly well worth watching - dogs after a couple of months being trained by SPCA staff - they finally get in and drive the cars. On Campbell Live TV3 and will be On Demand now.  The cars were specially adapted for them.

I'll bet the dogs can drive better than a fair proportion of Christchurch drivers. They'll use their indicators about as frequently too!!.......

You are so correct TonyC.  Chistchurch drivers are wicked. Indicators here are treated as optional extras.
I watched them being trained on the previous program and wouldnt have missed them driving in the cars.  They are so gorgeous and the people that trained them had all the patience in the world.
I am making a donation to SPCA as enjoyed the program so much.  They also do a fantastic job at the SPCA - but darent visit there as would come home with extra dogs in tow.

Agree. Even in wlg you can spot cucumbers drivers. They are the ones that speed up to corners slam on the brakes and flick the indicator for a sec if you are lucky. Brakes always before indicator.
