Mostly cloudy start for Howick, 2.4mm overnight in a brief downpour at 12.30am. Low of 16°C, currently 18

Some overnight rain, but fine and hazy sunshine in Napier now - mostly Cirrus (Ci) and Cirrostratus (Cs), with a little Altocumulus (Ac) as well. Flat calm right now.

Another dull start, but at least it is mild at 17.2 degrees, Barometer is on 1017.2, Not much sunshine expected today as forecast is for showers turning to rain

Cloudy to start with now mostly cloudy with the temp up to 21.1ºC after an overnight low of 13.4ºC. 
Winds are now picking up NNW up to aroubnd 10km/hr gusting to 20km/hr.  Sun is having more effect now, a nice day!

Black clouds approaching from the south but towards town still blue sky and sunshine.
Temp here is 23.1deg with a NW wind gust of 33.8km.  Humidity is at 47%.
Baro steady on 1011.3.
Total rain for the month is 16.6mm.
I woud imagine that in a couple of hours the weather is going to change dramatically unless it passes us by and just goes to the peninsula which happens quite frequently.
Just walked outside to the paddock to have a look and think at this stage we may miss it.

Tokoroa - An inch of rain from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.  Some good downpours during then too - max rain rate of 2.93mm/min or 175.7mm/hr equivalent!!  Still occasional drizzle now.
