Implosion 'test case' for Christchurch  - with video

http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/christchurch-earthquake-2011/7292551/Implosion-test-case-for-Christchurch

It has also been suggested that an auction should be held and the highest bidder should be the one to "push the button".All proceeds will then e donated to a good cause. This is also done in America and they say that it could raise up to $10,000.  They also do this in America on occasions.
I am sure that the whole thing will be well covered by sreports on the ground and also in the air.
As some of the building in Christchurch are taking nearly a year to demolish manually by sshighrise cranes - this would certainly be the way to go and emolished in 7.7 seconds is imp[ressive.
