Queensland has just shivered through it's coldest night of the year with many places dipping below 0c.
Many places woke to a wonderland of white and many people had to clear the ice off their cars before going to work this morning.
After the last few winters being mild, this winter has returned with a vengance, being the coldest for many years. Brisbane Airport got down to a bone chilling 4.0c this morning.

Northern NSW didnt escape either with Glen Innes dropping to an icy -10.0c
The nights are set to get warmer now with a warming tend as the weather is set to change to a more wet pattern over the weekend.
