Severe Weather Warnings in place for Otago

AREA/S AFFECTED

Headwaters of the Otago and Canterbury lakes and rivers from Arthurs Pass southwards
FORECAST

Rain is expected to become heavy about the Alps during Sunday morning. In the 12 hours from 7am in Otago and 9am in Canterbury, about 70 to 100mm of rain is expected to fall close to the Divide, with at least 65mm expected within 10km east of the Divide.
