Another classic calm, cool, Autumn morning, a low of just 5.8ºC kept it above a frost, but those in more sheltered places would have seen one this morning.
Calm and with a sprinkle of sunshine and dew through the tree branches and off the brightly lit wet grassy fields, was a fresh surprise to get up to this morning.

It has now risen to 20.4ºC already with more to come.  There is a 5km/hr WNW breeze pushing the clouds around.  There are quite a few light fluffy cumulus clouds out there, so the sun will come and go through the day, clouds possibly thickening this afternoon.

Freezing well it feels freezing after being in the Bay of Plenty for 2 weeks, plus there is a nasty cool southerly blowing

Fine and clear at first, with continuous sunshine until mid-pm. Medium and low-level cloud then quickly increased and thickened from the S, ahead of an incoming cold front. Sky was by sunset. Little wind at first, then a light ENE breeze in the early afternoon, backing SE then S later, and freshening a little. Mild pm temps.
