Report your rainfall throughout the Day here either in Millimeters or just the conditions. You do not need a Weather Station to do this.

2:20  Main rain band seems to have passed.  Wind has dropped right away (Currently 0 - 7km) and it has stopped raining altogether but it it is still overcast and I can hear the water dripping off the trees if I stick my head outside.  Humidity currently 99% & Barometer at 1007.4 and starting to rise again.
Conditions at local time 02:20 on 12 April 2012
Rainfall Today 9.0 mm
Rainfall Rate 0.0 mm/hr
Rainfall This Month 35.4 mm
Rainfall This Year 411.4 mm
Rainfall Last Hour 2.4 mm
Last rainfall 2012-04-12 01:51

11:55  Still mainly overcast and it has started drizzling again and there has been none of the suggested Thunder. >:(  Only 0.6 rainfall overnight, well since 2:20am anyway.  Measured Rainfall in my new Manual Wedge style Rain gague and it was 59mm so far for this event which is 24.2 mm more than my station gague (24.8mm).  Houston, I think we still have a problem.  Now that I have to go from the Office to the Caravan for food the drizzle has changed to rain.  Grrrrr!

13:10 Brief Sun shower!

13:27  Another Sun Shower, weird this one.  Raining at the West end of my Office but 10m away the sun is shining?

16:30  Just one more shower this afternoon since my last post but it made no difference to the Rainfall data and hardly even slowed down the builders on the section next door.  Big black shower cloud sitting on the Kaimai Range to the west but does not seem to be going very far, wind seems to have settled into a West to South pattern now so doubt that we will see much more precipitation if any.
Rainfall Today 9.6 mm
Rainfall Rate 0.0 mm/hr
Rainfall This Month 36.0 mm
Rainfall This Year 412.0 mm
Rainfall Last Hour 0.0 mm
Last (Recorded) rainfall 2012-04-12 08:29  It has rained briefly several times since then

18:20  No further actual rain.
Checked the new Wedge style rain gague in the Orchard further up the section that I installed last weekend.  58mm for this rain event covering yesterday and today.
Houston we have a problem!
