Forecast in Brief for Friday the 1st June 2018



Northland and Bay of Plenty
Fine today. A few showers developing about eastern areas in the morning, spreading elsewhere in the evening.

Auckland, Coromandel Peninsula and Taupo
Mostly fine, however, cloud increasing late tomorrow and a few showers developing in the evening.

Waikato to Kapiti, including Taihape
Fine, apart from areas of cloud about Taihape, Manawatu, Horowhenua and Kapiti today. Areas of fog tomorrow morning.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington
Cloudy periods, with a few coastal showers.

Nelson, Buller, Marlborough and Canterbury
Cloudy morning and night, clearing from Nelson and Buller tomorrow. A few showers about Banks Peninsula and coastal Marlborough, spreading inland tomorrow night.

Fiordland, Otago and Southland
Fine with morning frosts, but persistent low cloud or fog in some valleys.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods, with a few showers, clearing for time tomorrow.
