Bishopdale Chch February 2012 summary Just some points to note.

1. The max air temp of 26.3 was the coolest since 2004.
2. The air min temp of 7.5c was the warmest since 2005.
3 There were only 2 days above 25c have not known this to happen before.
4.There were only 20 days above 18c also the lowest i have on record.
5.The avg months air temp of 15.16c was the 3rd coolest in Bishopdales record.
The coolest February month avg temp i have for Bishopdale is 15.1c in 2003 and 15.13c in 2001.
 3 years earlier we had the warmest monthly avg temp for February
of 19.27c.

Actually Mark we have only  had a good few days for March as well.  Seems to be a long Autumn.

Ch'ch sunshine for Feb. was 150 hours - poor, but a long way off the record low (112). On the other hand Dunedin had only 108, (3rd lowest for it), and Palmerston an appalling 74 (though that site does have exposure issues of some sort).
