Gisborne to Wairarapa, including Wellington
Occasional showers, especially near the coast, clearing this afternoon.

Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago
Fine, apart from a few morning showers about coastal Marlborough and Banks Peninsula.

Scattered rain, retreating to Stewart Island this evening.
