All the North Island, also Nelson and Marlborough
Fine, apart from areas of morning cloud and the odd light shower about Horowhenua and Kapiti.

Buller
Cloudy periods and a few showers this morning.

Westland and Fiordland
Periods of rain, easing in Westland this evening.

Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Areas of morning cloud then fine. Isolated afternoon and evening showers in Otago and Southland.
