Fine spells and the odd shower. Few heavy showers inland Gisborne tomorrow with possible thunderstorms.

Marlborough, Nelson and Buller
Showers, some heavy with hail and possible thunderstorms, clearing tonight, then returning tomorrow afternoon.

Westland
Few showers, some possibly heavy with hail, clearing late evening.

Canterbury, Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Few showers, some heavy with hail, possible thunderstorms in Canterbury. Showers easing and retreating to the south and east tomorrow, but afternoon showers about inland Canterbury.
