Dry in Northern Hawkes Bay July 2014
« on: July 14, 2014, 10:39:30 AM »
The Northern Hawkes Bay region has now had 12 consecutive dry days although this week should see the rain set in. This dry spell at this time of the year is far from normal with only 7.2mm of rainfall for the Wairoa Township over the last 30 days.
The last month from mid June to mid July have been the driest from my computerised and manual records. Stats are as below for the last 5 years for comparison and to verify this report.
