Which brand of batteries do you recommend?

Which brand of batteries do you use for your weather station?  I am on the search for the best brand to use.  I was using Energiser but they are so expensive, so I decided to try Varta.  They have proved to be useless.  I thought this could be an interesting topic for us to talk about given we all need to use them.
