Announcement - Headline News Added 5th April

Admin with the help of the Supporters Group is trialling ‘News Headlines’ for a few days to see if this is of interest to our members.

The ‘News’ Block is directly under the ‘Shout Box’ at the top of the center column. Like I did, most of you will have this rolled up and hence will not realise this enhancement.

Once you have unrolled this  let us know what you think, feedback is always welcome

As the Topic heading reads;  Are you reading the Forum Headline News that were introduced a month ago?

Can you even see the Headlines or have you got this Board closed up?

It is at the top of the forum below the Shoutbox and above Weather Discussion in the Centre.
If you have it Closed/Rolled up, then Open it up by clicking on the + on the right of ‘News” and have a look.

If you feel they are a distraction to the forum or a waste of time and roll them up again then let us know below or Message one of the Admin.

Like everything, sourcing these takes time so we need to know whether these Headlines are worth running or not.  Please take a minute and post below whether they are of interest to you.

Great idea

Each item needs to stay visible a but longer, difficult to read long headlines, make a decision to view and then move mouse and click.

What about displaying say 3 headlines and scrolling them up with new ones added to the bottom of the list and to top one shuffling off display.

Just my initial 2 cents worth.
