I see that some places have 'introduced' the 'single digits' in NZ......??
Well, we still have them here,  although today is a very bright and sunny day...!!!

Still too cold compared to 'normal' temperatures (should be around + 6 to + 8 C), but no complains as long as the Sun shines, and there're NO snow flurries!!!!

According the forecast, it will still take another week before we're even getting close to 'normal' (I mean for the temperatures), but still NO 'double digits' in sight...

Not wrong there Arthur.
I have noticed quite a rapid change in temp last week or so when doing the summaries especially down south where our coldest stations are situated.
Friday night saw a drop across the south island and the east coast of the north.
Last night ( Saturday ) again saw the East coast of the NI ways down to between 5 and 7°C with Christchurch much the same.
A few of our station owners said they lit their fires so winter is definitely on its way.
