Gosh looks like it has gone your way Jenny looked at the rain radar.
We have had 13.8 mm so far since midnight and last night to midnight was 4.0  Storm total 17.8mm.
It can stop now as want to do concreting tomorrow thank you.
Saw the totals for OhauitiWeather of 393.4 and that is a lot of rain.

Rainfall This Year 402.1 mm, from 1 January 2012, unfortunately I don't have access to last years comparative totals from this computer but I think we are down on last year to the same date but will check tomorrow & update this post.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 12/04/12:
Rainfall last year, manually recorded and at a location 1.2km further up Ohauiti Road than our current Location, 186m above sea level compared to our current 125m.
Rainfall for period 01/01/11 - 04/04/11 - 545.0
Rainfall for period 01/01/12 - 12/04/12 - 435.2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is probably still undersated as I have been having some recording issues with my Rain gague.  Have just installed a new traditional wedge manual gague on top of a post approx 50m away from my Electronic one.  Will be interested to compare notes tomorrow after this rain.

Tokoroa -

From 4:40pm on Wednesday to 02:56am Thursday, nearly 10.5 hrs, we had 65.2mm of rain.  The highest rain total for a whole hour was 16.1mm from 21:25 to 22:26.

This was the first rain in 11 days since 30th March when we just had 0.5mm and that was after a period of 5 days dry as well.
