Forecast in Brief for Monday the 14th May 2018



Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Periods of rain, sometimes heavy, with isolated thunderstorms possible, easing to a few showers tomorrow.

The remainder of the North Island
Fine breaks and a few showers today, some heavy around Northland and Auckland with isolated thunderstorms possible. Areas of low cloud or fog tonight and tomorrow morning, then fine breaks and isolated showers.

Marlborough away from the Kaikoura Coast, Nelson, Buller and Westland
Rain easing to isolated showers this afternoon or evening, then clearing in western areas tomorrow.

Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury
Cloudy with occasional rain.

Otago and Southland
Mainly fine. However, morning and evening low cloud or fog, and drizzle about North Otago from tonight.

Fiordland
Fine with high cloud.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy. Rain for a time tonight and tomorrow morning.
