A much colder week compared to last. 10 stations recorded -5.0°C or under. Castle Hill was by far the coldest with -9.8°C followed by

High gusts and wind runs were also recorded but not quite as strong as last week. Around a third of our stations recorded gusts over 50km/per hr but no recordings over 100km/per hr. Our windy west coast stations, Dargaville, Awhitu, Wiritoa, Korokoro, Kapiti Coast and Parakai Airport all recorded high wind runs with Mahia, Nuhaka and Wairoa taking a battering over the weekend.
