A bit of rain around the Bay today, not much here, but some decent dumps about, mostly in the ranges.
My favourite, Haparapara, not at East Cape, but inland from about Te Kaha up in the ranges.
That site has near enough 1 mtr of rain so far this year.

The sky was blue and 30 degrees, about an hour or two later the sky is grey and the temperature is 27. Rain over night which was wonderful.
