Taranaki to Wellington, including Taihape
Patchy rain clearing early morning but the odd shower remain. Showers increasing north of Manawatu this evening.

Nelson and Marlborough
Mainly fine. Isolated afternoon or evening showers.

Buller to Fiordland
Showers, clearing from Fiordland this afternoon.

Canterbury and Otago
Scattered showers developing this morning, then clearing in Otago this afternoon and from Canterbury tonight.

Southland
