Warm for Many 7th May 2015
« on: May 07, 2015, 03:47:49 PM »
Pinched from Weatherwatch.co.nz.

The wind flow across New Zealand is certainly a mild one at the moment - the snow storm of April seems like a distant memory as air once again sweeps down from the sub-tropics and boosts daytime and overnight temperatures right across the country.

A high east of New Zealand is helping pull down this warm northerly wind flow to most regions.

By the time the weekend arrives a new wind flow comes in - but it's still mild.  Westerlies will blow in from Australia.

A colder southerly arrives mid to next week - and at this stage doesn't look too harsh.

Farmers lucky enough to get both rain and sun will find grass growth rates may improve over the next week or so.

Warm over Hawkes Bay and Poverty Bay.
Gisborne: 21.0
Gisborne West 23.5
Mahia Beach 21.6
Nuhaka 23.0
Wairoa 24.8
Frasertown 25.0
Napier 23.0
