Waikato to Kapiti, including Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
Long fine spells and isolated showers.

Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson and Buller
Mainly fine. Isolated afternoon and evening showers inland.

Westland, Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Showers spreading north with a southerly change. Some showers heavy, and isolated thunderstorms possible about eastern Otago.
