From Auckland to Wellington, including the central high country
Morning cloud, isolated light showers about the west coast north of Wanganui clearing this morning. Long fine spells this afternoon, but cloud returning south of Taranaki this evening.

Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne to Wairarapa
Fine.

Nelson and Marlborough
Fine, apart from areas of morning cloud.

Buller and Westland
A few light showers north of Hokitika, clearing this morning, but returning in the evening. Southern Westland, isolated showers developing this afternoon and clearing evening.

Fiordland
Mostly cloudy, with occasional light rain clearing this evening.

Canterbury
Morning cloud breaking then fine.

Otago and Southland
Mainly fine, but isolated showers about the south coast this morning, then inland during the afternoon and evening.
