Friday was another day of record-breaking temperatures in Alabama.

Not low overnight temperatures, but record low maximum temperatures during the day.
Here are some of the record-breaking lowest high temperatures for Friday (previous records in parentheses):

Anniston: High 80 (82 in 2009)

Birmingham: High 76 (79 in 1906)

Huntsville: High 70 (75 in 1920)

Muscle Shoals: High 71 (76 in 1923)

Tuscaloosa: High 75 (86 in 2012)
