7th rain day in a row.
Very sodden on the east coast now.

Most of the rain has fallen in the upper catchment which is now flowing down the Wairoa River which is now extremely dirt and swollen. The river mouth is open at present so lets hope it stays that way.

Warm temps and high humidity last few days.

Mainly clear blue sky in Waitakere this morning.
A pathetic splattering of rain yesterday - still waiting for something decent, looking more promising from mid next week.

New Plymouth: Sunny, some cloud, 18 degrees, near calm.

We got around 30mm past two days so things are growing again.

The sun shines for a change after 7 days rain.
Looking at the long lawns and mud one would think it was the middle of winter not early April.

My forecast tells me the rain is back tonight and tomorrow so not a lot of drying out will be done alas.

But I would rather have this than the drought up north is having :(
