Is it a suction type handle for holding onto smooth surfaces?

Extremely hot ( like my weather)
smooth surfaces.......     elaborate ?

As in a suction device that grabs hold of smooth surfaces (glass) so you can safely move/work with it

Correct Babs although iomkiwi steered you in the right direction.
It is a device that creates suction at the bottom to lift panes of glass. You would use 2 of them.
More a handy mans device.
Below is more an industrial type but does the same thing.
