A few fronts work their way north over the country today however both should'nt cause to many issues, apart from passing showers especially in the west of both islands. Eastern areas of the country should see mild temperatures. Fog could be an issue this morning about Auckland and the Waikato.

Auckland & Northland
Some morning fog about Auckland then southwesterlies freshen around midday bringing the odd shower which clears by evening. A few brief sunny spells sneak in at times from afternoon also. For Northland expect southwesterlies from morning, the odd shower at times mainly in the west.
Highs: 16-17

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Morning sunny spells after any fog lifts, light southwesterlies. Southwesterlies freshen around midday with some cloud and the odd shower which clears by evening.
Highs: 13-17

Eastern North Island
Mainly sunny with light winds and some high cloud, late afternoon winds change southwest with the chance of a shower.
Highs: 16-18

Western North Island
Cloud increases this morning with northwesterly winds, a few showers move through in the afternoon with a west to southwest change.
High: 15

Wellington
Some cloud with breezy northerlies, chance of a shower late afternoon as winds tend southerly. Any showers clear in the evening.
High: 15

Nelson
Mostly sunny, some cloud this morning clearing. Light winds freshen up from the southwest in the afternoon.
High: 16

Marlborough
Some high cloud this morning, mostly sunny otherwise with westerly winds tend southerly later this afternoon.
Highs: 17-18

Canterbury
Sunny with light winds, some high cloud possible. Winds tend southerly this morning in South Canterbury and further north into the afternoon and with this change there could be some cloud for a time.
Highs: 14-17

West Coast
Showers clearing around midday, a few sunny spells break through in the afternoon. Southwesterlies.
High: 13

Southland & Otago
A period of showers this morning clearing by midday, sunny spells develop in the afternoon. Breezy west to southwest winds.
Highs: 12-13
