So right after I posted the above image, the hail started. It's only just stopped so 20min hailstorm through here

20mins ago the temp was 4.1, it's now 2.7, so a 1.4C drop. As the suns just gone down will be interesting to see what happens over the next few hours

ended up being a pretty nice day in Reefton.
wall to wall sunshine.
temp warmed to 11.5°C just before 3pm before plummeting to be less than 6°C 30mins later.
temp currently sitting on 1.1°C and continuing to drop.
a SE breeze hovering around 10km/hr is keeping things very chilly outside.

High winds throughout early morning and continued for the remainder of the day. Late evening winds appear to be tapering off.
Special note for today a  dust of 129.5 kmh in the morning.

Some hail was seen throughout the day with heavy rain.

Also experienced some flashes of lightning but nothing too intensive.

Temperatures hit a low at 6:43 pm of 6.7 C
