Temps were pretty much normal, with lots of long sunny days under clear skies. Higher than normal sunshine hours were the result of this, whilst winds were lighter than usual, with frequent sea-breezes in the afternoons.

Still practically no rain - our last decent rainfall was 9th/10th Aug last year!! We've now had 7 months of dry conditions, and the countryside around Hawkes Bay is as dry and brown as a desert, with practically no stock to be seen....
