Q & A: Shout Box Features
« on: April 13, 2012, 11:32:50 PM »
The Shoutbox addon that the forum is using has a few hidden features.
If you do not wish to read the ‘Hot of the press ‘ gossip you may roll either of the Shout Boxes up by clicking on the negative icon top right corner of the shout box as in the screenshot.

On the top left are 4 tiny icons.

The two Green Arrows when clicked will Refresh the Shoutbox.

The second icon is the History Icon. This will open the history for either Shout Boxes and will fill the whole page. The forum keeps up to 1000 Posts. At present there are 11 full pages.

To return  back to the forum with the Shoutbox up the top, Click on Home.

The Third Icon is the current Smiley Set you are using. Click on this icon and the Smiley Set will appear underneath. Click on any icon to add it with your text.

The fourth one along is like a Text Editor and  allows you to change your text in size, shape and colour plus there are a few additional codes you may use.

In the Social Chat Box you may add images, url links, email links and there are more choices re text decoration.
