Landslide in Kezilesu Kirgiz, China-Three people died in a landslide in Kezilesu Kirgiz autonomous prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region of China.
-All three are workers of a mining company.
-Traffic and telecommunication services were also affected which was resumed wednesday morning.
-Heavy rainfall caused the cancellation of 18 flights in Sanxia Airport of Hubei (Yichang city).
Colombia/Nevado del Ruiz volcano recent volcanic activity-Around 500 people evacuated after the Nevado del Ruiz volcano spewed ashes.

-A 1985 eruption by Nevado del Ruiz buried the town of Armero in a wall of mud, killing about 25 000 people.

Flooding Thunder Bay, Ont.Heavy rains over last weekend flooded the town and surrounding areas, flooding basements, washing out roads and knocking out power. On Monday, the town declared a state of emergency.
The rains have since stopped and the flood waters are receding, and Environment Canada is forecasting dry sunny weather for the rest of the week. But the damage will take longer to fix.
On Wednesday, the city launched the Thunder Bay Flood Fund in conjunction with the Salvation Army and the Canadian Red Cross, both of which are delivering food and other necessities to those who need it.
