Several houses are reported to be flooding in west Auckland as freak thunderstorms continue to pass over the city.

ONE News has received several calls from the public saying there is severe flooding in parts of Great North Rd, with cars on the road partly submerged.

An apartment complex in Glen Eden is also reportedly flooding
