Early Morning.
Temp 9.8C, humidity 99%, wind from the NW. highest so far 18.6km/h. Barometer now at 1003.7hPs.
Hope we get some rain as I want to see if my rain gauge works and my rain barrel is nearly empty.

a north to northeast wind here in Bishopdale Chch at 25km/h.
 Its warm but not as warm as the radio say.
 Radio says 19c at 8am but not one undergroud station says that warm at 8am so i wonder where they get there temps from?.
 In Bishopdale its 17.4c.

Very foggy earlier, just left in valleys now clearing to a blue sky day (wall to wall blue)
Overnight low of 7.8ºC - coolish but with not a breath of wind.  Risen to just 11.8ºC now but rising sharply.
Mainly westerly to sou-westerly breezes expected, 3 - 8km/hr.
A max reported in my forecast for today of 25degrees!!!

New Plymouth: 17 degrees, sunny but some big dark mass rolls over, then vanishes from time to time. very little wind, almost calm at surface level.

Had beautiful weather here this morning reaching 25.7 deg - then black clouds came over about lunch time with a little drizzle which has happened a few times - not enough to register though.

Temp now 15.8
Wind NW gust at 53.1 kmh now turned SW
Baro has dropped to 1010.2

Fine and completely clear at first, then wisps of cirrus began developing from around the middle of the day. Some cloud persisted through the afternoon, with patchy cumulus beginning to move in from the NW after dark. Light NE to NNE breeze, easing in the evening, and mild pm temps
