While I was away on holiday it looks like someone has stolen the icon from my station at Kerikeri, if anybody knows where it has got to could they please return it, no questions asked.
I could go and nail up another one myself but I suspect if I do that it would just disappear again. :D
-
I think you had an extra windy day, maybe.... :)
-
I know there was a windy day or two while I was away but I have had a good look all round the neighbouring properties and can't find it.
-
You are not on the 'base' map. http://www.localweather.net.nz/maps/meso/NZWN2_meso.jpg
I expected the icons to be some sort of css overlay, but they are in fact part of the main map.
I haven't got a clue how that is 'constructed' :o
-
I know how it is constructed, and could even go and nail a replacement up, but if the next person to make an update doesn't realise what I have done there is a high likelihood it will disappear again ;)
-
I've obtained the required council permissions and re-erected the marker. I've concreted the foundations in this time and used extra bracing, so hopefully it won't go AWOL again ;)
