Title: Weather Display Absolute Pressure and Relative Pressure
Post by: Te Puke Weather on December 29, 2020, 10:27:10 AM
Merry Christmas and happy new all.. I have a small issues with my WeatherSleuth Weather Logger 2.2 and Weather Display..

I have my Weather Display working with no issues from the station in WiFi Pro mode. The issue I have is the Weather Logger 2.2 (web interface) for the station has Absolute Pressure and Relative Pressure.

I can set the offset for Relative Pressure to be correct but each time the receiver resets it returns 1013 Hpa.

The Relative Pressure is what my Weather Display software is reading. The Absolute Pressure is correct all the time (looking at Metservice, Air port) but I can't seem to get Weather Display to read the Absolute Pressure it only seems to read the Relative Pressure from the software/station.

Is there away to get the Absolute Pressure out of the WeatherSleuth Weather Logger?

Thanks for any help...

EDITED
Previous comment was not applicable.  While Weather Display supports some of the Fine Offset stations, I don't think the Aercus Weathersleuth is one of them. Post your query on weather-display.com.  Brian may well update the program to support the extra functions it may have.
cheers,
Tony C.

Ummm! Sorry if I touched a raw nerve.  I was attempting to point where you might get the appropriate answer. This forum doesn't seem to be too technically orientated these days  :(
Brian (Weather Display author) monitors the Weather Display forum and he used to do the same for messages posted in the Hardware Software Tech/Weather Display section of this forum. Not sure whether he still does. Over my 12 years of using WD, he's been helpful in solving a few queries.  Interestingly enough, the Weather-Watch forum seems to have been off-line the past couple of days.

Of course this forum is here to help and much of that is done behind the scenes :)

Tony was on to it pointing you to the author of the Weather Display software. Who else would be the best person for info/help.

I have messaged Brian sending a link to your question. Hopefully he will find time to help you.
Remember though we are thick into the Christmas\New Year holidays and Brian well may be away.

Cheers
Jenny
