I have a problem, in that the file Tideprediction.html which is produced daily is showing dates for 2017 instead of 2018. It shows the correct month though the start date is a week or so early. The laptop running it shows the correct date. When I try to access the Tides section in the "View" menu I get a "dinging" sound and the programme hangs. Control-Alt-delete and kill the process is the only way out.
I upgraded (full install) to the latest version, 10.37S81 but I still get the same result.
Can anyone help?
regards,
Tony C.
Further edit:
I forgot to mention that when I go to the "View Tides" button and the Program hangs (without showing any new screen), the Tideprediction.html file is reproduced showing the correct dates and year (after reloading WD). It is the daily reproduction of the file that shows the incorrect dates.

Strange.....
TidePrediction.html reproduced exactly as it should this morning. Perhaps updating did some good though the "view tides" button still hangs the program. We'll see how it goes. Maybe just a bad hair day. :-\

Hi Tony,Your Tides page still show 2017 today for me, the same as yesterday, in both your home Tides and Weather Tides tabs. I can't recall exactly what time frame yesterday but today from 2017-09-14 to 2017-10-04. I have CtrlF5 refresh just to make sure I get a current page load.
Enjoy,
Paul

seems ok to me Tony, on a quick look,

Yes, it's reverted back to 2017 this morning.
For my main weather page, I am using custom tags to show the tides for the current day and that seems to working accurately.
Not sure whether Brian monitors this thread. I have just posted this same topic on Weather-watch to see if I get a response.

I had a reply from Brian on Weather-Watch which has solved the freezing problem, so for anyone following this thread with the same problem, they need to close down WD and edit the wdisplay.ini file. Delete the settings:-
[Tide]
last setup left=
last setup top=
Apparently the view screen was opening off display, thus giving the impression WD had frozen.
As I said before, opening that screen, re-calculated the tide table and reproduced a correct version of the tideprediction.html file.
I examined the files in the Wdisplay dir of the laptop and found a copy of tideprediction.html identical to that which keeps appearing in the webserver directory with 2017 data. I can't find any process that copies that file across to the webserver (possibly overwriting the recently generated file), but deleting it will I hope solve the problem. Tomorrow will prove whether I am right.
cheers

Yep,
All seems to be operating ok now having deleted any old copies of tideprediction.html in the system.
Bit of a mystery as to how those files got copied to the webserver which is a NAS on the network as I can't see any scheduled ftp transfers within WD set up and nothing in Windows task scheduler that I may have forgotten about.
cheers
