It looks like soup inside a rubber receptacle or bowl..., that's what it looks like but what it is and what we perceive can be two different things! :o

Red indicates heat with light emanating from something molten and very hot, so it appears it may be a molten metal in a cruciable prior to pouring out as a casting.

Can be Mark. Can be found anywhere but inside usually.
