Forecast in Brief for Wednesday the 11th July 2018

Northland to Taranaki, including Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Fine spells, with the odd shower, mainly in the west.
Whanganui to Kapiti
Mainly fine, however isolated showers tomorrow, especially about the ranges.
Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington, Nelson and Marlborough
Fine, apart from a few showers north of Wairoa tonight.
Canterbury
Fine. However, showers and a strong southerly developing late tomorrow.
Buller, Westland and Fiordland
Cloudy periods and isolated showers turning to rain tomorrow, with heavy and possibly thundery falls from afternoon.
Otago and Southland
Fine spells, with a few showers in the south, turning to rain for a time tomorrow afternoon or evening with possible squally thunderstorms and snow to 300 metres.
Chatham Islands
Occasional showers.
