Northland, Auckland, Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and Taupo
Mainly fine.
Waikato to Kapiti Coast, including Taumarunui and Taihape
Mainly fine, but cloud increasing tomorrow morning.
Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
A few showers for Gisborne and northern Hawkes Bay, clearing tomorrow. Fine spells increasing elsewhere.
Wellington, Nelson and Marlborough
Fine.
Buller
Fine. Some cloud tomorrow.
Westland and Fiordland
Light showers tonight, turning to rain in Fiordland tomorrow morning.
Canterbury and Otago
Mainly fine, but high cloud increasing tomorrow and isolated showers developing in Otago.
Southland
Fine today, but rain about the coast tomorrow morning, with scattered falls inland in the afternoon.
Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods. The odd shower.
