Forecast in Brief for Wednesday the 27th June 2018

Northland to Manawatu, including Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Taupo, Taumarunui and Taihape
Showers, and snow to 500 metres from the Desert Road southwards. Showers clearing this evening and overnight and becoming fine apart from isolated showers in the west of Northland.

Gisborne to Wairarapa
Coastal showers, but generally fine inland. Snow to 500 metres in Wairarapa.

Horowhenua to Wellington
Showers clearing overnight. Fine spells increasing tomorrow.

Coastal Canterbury and the Kaikoura Coast
Showers, clearing overnight and becoming mainly fine.

The remainder of Marlborough and Canterbury, also Nelson, Buller, Westland and northern Fiordland

Fine, with frosts tomorrow morning.

Southern Fiordland, Otago and Southland
A few wintry showers, mainly in the south, with snow to 300 metres at first.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods, the odd shower.
