Forecast in Brief for Monday the 25th June 2018

Northland to Kapiti, also Taupo, Taumarunui and Taihape
Cloudy periods and occasional showers, some heavy with hail, clearing Kapiti tomorrow afternoon. Squally thunderstorms possible near the coast, and snow lowering to 700 metres in Taihape late tomorrow.

Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, and Gisborne to Wairarapa
Cloudy periods. Isolated showers, becoming widespread about Coromandel and Bay of Plenty early tomorrow morning and again during the afternoon.

Wellington
Cloudy periods, with occasional showers in the north clearing tomorrow morning.

Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Otago apart from Clutha
Cloudy periods and isolated showers. Snow lowering to 200 metres in Otago tomorrow.

Buller, Westland, Fiordland, Southland and Clutha
Showers, some heavy with hail and squally thunderstorms, clearing southern Westland for a time tomorrow afternoon. Snow lowering to 100 metres in Fiordland, Southland and Clutha tomorrow.

Chatham Islands
Occasional showers, some heavy.
