Forecast in Brief for Friday the 15th June 2018

Northern and western areas from Northland to Wellington, including the central high country
Cloudy periods, with a few light showers in the west. Occasional rain or showers developing later tomorrow.
Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
Mainly fine, but a few showers near the western ranges.
Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury
Mostly fine, but areas of low cloud or fog about the Canterbury coast and plains. Brief showers tomorrow.
Buller and Westland
The odd shower today. Occasional rain tomorrow.
Fiordland
Periods of rain.
Otago and Southland
Mainly fine, but areas of low cloud or fog. Scattered rain tomorrow morning, retreating to coastal Southland and Stewart Island in the afternoon.
Chatham Islands
Occasional showers.
