Forecast in Brief for Thursday the 31st May 2018

Northland to Manawatu, including Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Fine, with morning frosts inland.
Gisborne to Wairarapa
Mostly fine, but a few showers about the coast spreading inland for a time tomorrow.
Horowhenua to Wellington
Mostly fine. However, a few showers developing in Wellington from about midday tomorrow until tomorrow evening.
Nelson, Buller, Westland, Otago and Southland
Fine for most, but persistent low cloud or fog in some valleys. Overnight and morning frosts, mostly inland.
Marlborough and Canterbury
Cloud morning and night, otherwise fine, apart from cloudy periods and a few showers about the coast. Morning and overnight frosts.
Fiordland
Fine, apart from cloudy periods with a few light showers in the southwest. Cloudy periods spreading elsewhere tomorrow.
Chatham Islands
Occasional showers.
